What Anti Virus program do you currently use?

I am currently using Avast free for home use which is great and has protected me so far for the good few years I have been using it.

How would you rate the anti virus you use?

When I was on PCs I used AVG Free Edition for the past 4 years. I'm now on Macs and I don't need any anti-viruses. So...I'm pretty happy!

i'm using Panda Cloud Antivirus, it's a free edition of Panda anti-virus, but the best thing about it, it that it doesn't require an update, and it uses almost no ram memory, and i've been using it for 1,5 years, it never let me down, i had no virus problems.

it's really tricky how it works, it's has a server or something like a cloud where all the information is stored, and your panda finds an virus it sends the information to the cloud, and from there other users can get the information and this is why its so good, it collects information world wide with all the viruses.:confused:tar:

That sounds like a really good anti virus :) alot of companies are using what they call 'The Cloud' nowadays to store such things as to prevent so much space being taken up on any kind of technology.

well i said i have no problem with it, it doesn't use any ram, it has the option of quarantine it doesn't just delete your file  you can recover your files if you choose to, and different from other is when they mean it's free it's free not just like 2 options from 15, if you want to buy it to go pro all that is extra is advanced protection and VIP Technical support whatever that means.:bigboulay:

I've been using AVG since I first started using computers years ago. Works 100% fine for me and does updates in due time.

I am using Avira anti virus. I just downloaded it for free in the web. My firewall is also activated and so far, it was enough to guard my PC from viruses. I was just using it at home.

I use Nod 32. It's cheap and it is so far the best I've ever used.

I use Norton. My dad gets it free for up to five computers with his cable service so I mooch off of him. My husband has a Mac so he doesn't need antivirus software.

Avira. No complaints either, however, the Panda cloud interests me now. I might try it.

I used to have Kaspersky before the license expired. Now I just have Trojan Remover which is very good and you just need to run a quick scan weekly.

Up until recently I never bothered with an anti virus. I really never have needed one, I still don't really but I did download malwarebytes because a friend said it's good and I was quite surprised to how much I like it.

It definitely is a slowing of the computer one when scanning but well worth using.
