Is there a reason for that or do you just not like their products ?

Nope, I've never even had a phone before. My parents won't buy me one. I would go with the Iphone 4S and be happy, but my parents won't even get me a piece of crap phone.

Not getting one myself. The only Apple product I have is the iPod and that is still in 2nd Generation which I may upgrade when I can afford it. Sticking with my Samsung Galaxy Ace for now :)

There's a reason. Apple wants to control exactly how you use their devices and I for one refuse to be a hostage in that regard. It’s apparently not enough for Apple to control exactly how everyone is allowed to use Apple products, they now want to tell you exactly which other products you are allowed to use as well.

Can't disagree with you on that.
That's exactly why at the end of my contract I will leave iPhones alone.

I'm going to be the oddman out and say I'm upgrading from Android to an iPhone 4. I had a Samsung Captivate and it worked really well for like a month, and after that it first had screen rotation problems, and then it started causing my apps to freeze and force close them a lot.

Yeah, my first problem was that sometimes the screen would be stuck in the horizontal position, which is annoying when you usually keep it vertical. Luckily an update fixed that problem, and then it just kept getting annoying. :/

I've never had a phone overheat on me. I only drain the battery if I'm active on it a lot during the day. If I barely use it, the battery lasts for a few days.

Using a Xperia Phone, not very interested in iPhones, they are pretty cool but now with this phone i realise I can still do most of the things that drew me over to them minus iTunes. I highly dislike that program and the complications it adds to something so simple like adding music to your device.

iTunes is not that difficult to use...

A lot of "problems" people have with it aren't even actual problems.

For me it is not so much about having "Problems" or that I don't know how to use it, it is a matter of preference. I simply rather a simply plug drag take off under a minute approach. iTunes synchronizes one device to one account and it becomes a hassle when there are two or more people using one computer. I know it is not that long or annoying once you get used to it but I still simply don't like it.

You can just have it plug in, drag and drop and take off in under a minute. I do it all the time. A majority of the "issues" people have with iTunes is stuff you can turn off. Which goes to the part of you not knowing what you're doing.

Oh, okay. I could argue that it is more not knowing what you can do rather than not knowing what you're doing but that's silly when in the end I know it can be englobed into what you said, so you're right. Thanks for telling me. It is reassuring to hear there is an option for that. I don't have to bother right now with it but at least if I ever have to face it again I won't be that hesitant to check around the menu to disable what I don't like.

Anyway iTunes aside Android has been pretty good so far so I still maintain my position, I am not very interested in iPhones at the moment as I am just getting used to the leap from Nokia's old colour into a smartphone and by itself is such a huge leap for me taht even if my phone is outdated right now I am still amazed with what you can do with it. X3

If I were to get an iPhone I'd probably wouldn't go for last generation, they are way too expensive.

I have had an iphone 3g and it was great, and then i switched to windows phone 7.

i just bought a galaxy s3 and i love it, i think android is more fun that iOS, there is so much to do

the iphone 5 is not something i would consider, maybe when iphone6 or 7 or 8 comes out

My Samsung Captivate runs on the Galaxy S3 OS whatnot. I'm trying to see what's "so much more to do" than on iOS. It's really feeling the same to me, besides the fact it's not Apple.
