I agree, that is a long time to wait, can't make things any easier for those involved.

Coroner has ruled that the baby was killed by a Dingo.

Many people won't agree with me but I find it very hard to believe that a dingo would kill, eat then leave nothing behind of clothing or part of the little girl's body.

I am glad it is over for the family but the above was my opinion 30 years ago and it hasn't changed.

Our news the other day said she was released from prison years ago because clothing was found in a Dingo's den.

Have to say I hadn't heard that here in Australia but did just read it on Google. It could be true.

This is a quote I got off Google as well and I agree with.

“We are relieved and delighted to come to the end of this saga… No longer will Australians be able to say dingoes are not dangerous and only attack if provoked. We live in a beautiful country, but it is dangerous and we would ask all Australians to take appropriate precautions.”

I know from experience they are dangerous. My husband went fish on Fraser Island in Australia where Dingos are. If you are by yourself as he was he was surrounded by a pack of dingoes. I went down there and they all disappeared. There have been children killed on that Island. Campers tents ransacked. Believe me Dingos are dangerous.

Another things that didn't add up at the time for me is she said there was blood around the glovebox of the car from a dingo and forensic found it to be red paint.

I stand to be corrected as I am just going by memory and it was 30 years ago but I am still not convinced.

Not trying to correct you :) just passing on what we were told on the news.
I think with what evidence they have the verdict was the only one possible.

That is fair enough too and agree what evidence they have it is the only verdict possible. Here is a link to the case which is interesting and it does back what you say. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azaria_Chamberlain_disappearance

It is just a feeling I have always had right or wrong. A lot of Aussies are skeptical and Lindy Champerlain only said that on the news last night. Good discussion. Enjoyed it with both of us just having an opinion.
