One of my biggest hates is the Low Lifes who send emails to people trying to make them give up their Bank details.
They prey on the Elderly mainly knowing that some of them wont realise its a scam.

      I got this email today.
Headed "Your account has been deactivated please follow instructions to re activate"
Complete verification process to restore, Mobile phone number required to contact you
      Personal ID or Card number:
      Passcode:
      Registration number:
      Mothers Maiden Name:
      Place of birth:
      Name of first school:
      Mobile phone number:
      Home Telephone:
      Home address:
      Post Code:
      Debit card number:
      Date of Birth:

Now some elderly people may well do this without realising.

Get a life you Scumbags and stop trying to steal other peoples hard earned cash.

I agree with you APS, it is getting beyond a joke and unfortunately as you stated many elderly will not realise and do what is being asked and get scammed.

It's completely wrong and a shame that there is nothing that can really be done to prevent it at the moment, I definitely think there should be more done to prevent things like this.

The only real solution is education. These low-lifes aren't going to stop sending these emails, so it's a case of making sure the people who might get taken in by them are better educated about such emails.

I agree Benjamin, it is a shame that not many are educated about this or that it is not pushed out enough to ensure more people know so that they do not fall victim to this kind of scam and as said above many are people whom are not well known with a computer but use it for basics like emailing family and friends and such.
