So yeah, whos been to bbq parties? I haven't been to much myself. Because really don't got time to organise them plus I find them to be a hassle to go to.

BBQ is one of the best foods ever invented. I live in Memphis, a bbq capitol, so I have easy access to some of the best in the world.

Don't tend to do too many BBQ parties to be honest only for birthdays and the such but I do love to have them randomly during the summer :) the taste of BBQ food is just lovely :)

Actually you know, bbq's like a big buffet of foods where you got all-you-can-eat and other things like salads and other stuff.

Yeah, we don't have many places around here that do that, usually if anywhere does a BBQ for the public say a pub etc usually all they offer is the burgers and hot dogs which is a shame. I would love to see something done like that where I live where you have a range of foods aswell as the BBQ burgers and hot dogs :)

yep. hot-dogs are especially yummy and burgers are a good bbq food too! especially with a piece of steak inside and some ketchup.

As a Southerner, I'm slightly offended by you guys saying hamburgers and hot dogs are barbecue. That's grilling and there's a big difference, especially in cooking style.

but you know, we get them when we eat bbqs, so yeah. Hence why I thought they were bbq foods, pardon me for that, my bad.

I think it's because a lot of people think grilling something is "barbecue", so they go into barbecue restaurants and expect hamburgers. It's like sushi in a Chinese restaurant (well the food isn't actually Chinese either, but that's a different discussion).

yep indeed, you're correct on that, it pisses me off whenever someone says: sushis are chinese, but yeah, on the note of bbq foods I love: bbq chicken, sausages. I'd suppose that count as bbq foods?

Depends on the sausage, in Texas there's a lot of barbecue places run by German families, so they cook it with the rest of the barbecue. If it's a smokey braughtworst (dunno the spelling) I would say it's legit, but if it's just normal sausage then no. I'm not a fan of bbq chicken, but I wouldn't deny its status as barbecue. Though for both of those, it mostly depends on how it's cooked.

you hit the nail with that, but yeah, how about the smoked meat sandwich, thats a bbq food or not? I love to eat it at a bbq party myself.

It really depends on how its cooked for me to call it barbecue, I'll eat it regardless since I love good meat.

I'll only discredit hamburgers entirely since the way burgers are cooked doesn't work the way barbecue is cooked. A good burger with barbecue meat is amazing.

OMG, never tasted that before you've mentionned it. Anyway, and with the Ketchup in there, it would make it a good bbq dish yes? What about marmelades or some others? Are they BBQs or not?

I''m not too fond of ketchup, and I'm not sure what marmelades are.

Idk, orange stuff doesn't sound like barbecue, it could just be grilled chicken, or rotisserie
