Three charges of indecent assault and one of rape will lie on the court file.

His lawyer said Hall apologised to his victims and added: "He is all too aware that his disgrace is complete."

He has been bailed until sentencing on 17 June.

The former presenter of the popular BBC TV games show It's A Knockout in the 1970s, Hall was working as a football reporter on BBC Radio 5 Live and wrote a weekly sport column for the Radio Times magazine until his arrest.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-22379286

I agree, very shocked about seeing this and for him to deny it and say he was guilty a few months ago just angers people. I hope he gets the sentence he deserves. Saying that though with this Country does anyone ever get the sentence they deserve?

Since the whole start of the Saville business, from a beginning of several people getting up the courage to come forward, many more victims are saying to themselves that they too should be heard. - -
My betting is that there are yet quite a lot more - very nervous - aging celebs out there..

agreed but seen as he,s admitted it, i cant get my head round them giving him bail, not that he could do much harm at his age, to me its a principle

I agree, seems absurd that they have given him bail after what he has admitted to doing, you could understand it if he was still pleading innocence but to admit it really doesn't justify being given bail.

I don't blame them. They must have gone through hell all these years, now he has finally admitted to it they should have every right to do so.

Always the case, usually why so many will hide it and never tell anyone, for fear of being ignored or called a liar. Such a sad world we live in :(
