Has anyone ever had a burn?

I myself have had numerous burns from cooking some pretty sore and others not so bad, I hadn't burnt myself in a while until yesterday when I was cooking dinner and I was doing fried eggs and as I lifted the egg out to drain the excess oil off and place it onto a plate the egg fell back into the frying pan splashing hot oil. I am now left with a small burn on my hand that has slightly blistered, doesn't look bad but it does hurt.

What is the worst burn you have had and how did you do it?

I had experienced burns too from cooking. And it was from frying different kind of foods and sometimes even from sauteing.
The worst I had was from frying milk fish. It was really hard to fry since it makes the oil go wild. lol Lucky it was not so bad when I got burns in my face for that.

I am glad to hear that wasn't so bad especially being on the face. I have had times when I have been frying and the fat has been spitting out and some has landed on my face but it has only been splashes so nothing that causes a problem, just a slight sting when it touches.

Once when I was little (around 3 or 4) my family was camping, we had a camp fire the night before, I was playing and decided to pretend to walk on hot coals. The problem was the coals were still a little hot and I ended up with 2nd degree burns on my feet. I was very young so all I really remember was the fact that I had to rub something on my feet everyday and that I could walk so I had to be carried every where we went. Actually I thought it was pretty cool, because everyone was waiting on me, it wasn't untill I got older that I realized how bad it could have been.

i couldn't imagine how much that must have hurt but I would imagine alot, how long did it take you to recover?

:) I can imagine the being waited on hand and foot was great though.

I suggest you learn first aid as a burn will scare if not treated right.

Yes that is true Naiwen, 3rd degree burns are the worst and can cause bad scarring. I myself know that when I burn myself best thing to do is put the burn straight under cold running water.
