Do you watch cooking shows like the iron chef or canadian recipes? I love these shows, I adore them. Why? Because I can learn a lot from them: recipes to healthy ways of eating things to spices and ingredients, unknown to me before watching them.

I'm embarrassed to say I watch Top Chef :p Call me girly, I don't give a crap. I've learnt a lot from what they cook, from the simple things to the advanced stuff. The tasks and challenges they have to pass are quite interesting too, and the fights and tension adds up to the awesomeness.

I used to watched some local cooking shows here since I would like to really learn new recipes. But some of those cooking shows I like are not airing anymore. What I would watch sometimes recently is the local kid edition of Master Chef cooking contest. Nice to watch those amazing kids that could cook like experts already.

Its also one of the reality shows I like watching. After learning things like cooking and which is nutritious and not, you'll definitely be conscious of what you eat from time to time.

yep, very true, I really like watching cooking shows, in my view, you're better off watching those than soaps and reality tv shows.

I don't watch as many cooking shows as I use to. I use to watch on Food Network...
Paula Deen's Home Cooking, Paula's Party, Paula's Best Dishes, Good Eats,
Barefoot Contessa, Down Home with the Neely's, Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade,
5 Ingredient Meals, Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller, and on the Cooking Channel
I use to watch Dave Lieberman's Good Deals, and Ellie Krieger's Healthy Cooking,
but now if I even remember, I like to watch on Food Network... Pioneer Woman and
Trisha Yerwood's Country Kitchen, and on the Cooking Channel... Bobby Deen's,
      Not Your Momma's Meals.

I am a fan of America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country, and try to watch them on either
PBS or Create. And sometimes if I am up late, I like to watch Lydia's Italy.

I'm now a fan of "The Chew" on ABC, and try to watch it everyday. And if I can't,
I try to tape the show.

I find with a lot of cooking shows that the finished product wouldn't feed a sparrow :)

Sean, I sorta think that too! And when I do prepare something which I thought would be good as seen on tv... I 'am not happy with the end results, and then think to myself... "But it looked so good on tv!!!"
