      Hey all,

So corporal punishment or spanking in schools and by parents. How do you feel about this big debate? Thoughts and opinions?

Well to be honest I was raised when schools could punish and so could parents.
      Not done me any harm.

I am mixed about this one, there is so many reasons for it to stay not allowed and so many for it to be allowed to be honest. I personally think that if it was allowed some youngsters would think twice before doing what they where punished for again but on the other hand nowadays there could be a chance of things getting out of hand if say children where punished in schools.

It should be allowed, but a set of guidelines should be put in to place for corporal punishment to be used.

Punishment is equated to discipline. With discipline finely rooted, the values of obedience and self-control will branch out. A couple of responsible punishment from my parents and teachers provided me a strong foundation. I am thankful to the scolding and spanking as they helped me discern right from wrong. I am a protagonist to responsible punishment!
