This is just shocking, I couldn't believe it when I read it the other day on Sky News. How anyone can be so cruel as to do that to any elderly person in their own home whilst they sleep is beyond me.

I hope they find the b******s that did it and give them what they deserve.

everything about this seems odd, they didn't kill her, managed to break in without trace and took nothing.

A lot of fishy things with this.

I must admit when you read that nothing was taken it does sound weird also I think I remember reading that there was no sign of break in either which is odd.

Like I said, very odd and fishy. Hopefully the police have someone capable of capturing the people who did this.

Saw this update earlier myself, quite shocked to see the ages of the two, I expected it to be youths in their early 20's or teens to be honest.

I agree with you Demon it is surprising she survived as long as she did, it's just a shame that even if they catch the culprits that did this all that they will get is a petty sentence.

My view on sentence is,I don't agree with Death Penalty (mistakes happen) but life should mean life.

I agree, in a case like this there is always a possibility of a mistake but in the hope that they culprits do get caught and charged I sure do hope they do get life and it means life. A life for a life so to speak, you take someones you lose yours behind bars.
