For fora, obviously. Which one is your favorite? Mine would be Vbulletin and Xenforo, all paid ones, yes I know. Free ones I like: mybb.

For paid it would have to be Xenforo but for free I do like MyBB

When it comes to free and hosted I prefer either jcink or zetaboards.

Some of my favorite forums are on Vbulletin so I'm used to that. I'm currently using Forumotion since I was lazy and that was the first free forum that popped up. It's alright and I'm not picky with what forumsoftware I use. I've never made my own forum before so it's fairly simple for me to use and it does what I need.

      Here we go :) http://demoboard.b1.jcink.com/

It's a really nifty free forum hosting run with IPB, can do some pretty cool stuff with it also.

It's pretty easy to install from what I remember and really easy to maintain. The last time I used it there wasn't much you could do with it which is why I was put off.

For free: MyBB definetly because I have used phpBB and it is very simple. As for paid, myBB is my favourite because it is just much more professional plus it has thousands of plugins! :)

It's about the same as every other software, upload, change to permissions then goto the install.php and install.Pretty basic actually.

I absolutely love Invision Power Board, namely the version used by Invisionfree. It fits my tastes perfectly.

SMF is very simple to install and use. It package system makes installing mods and themes easy as pie aswell. ITs ACP is pretty easy to get around and has a "classic" view for those who do not like it. It is also very lightweight and has only key features. For everything else there are mods.

For PAid software I prefer IPB. For Free it is a tie between SMF and MyBB

And by fora you mean forum? lol My favourite forum software is MyBB. It's stable, simple and has a bunch of free plugins and themes. The support on their official forum is not too bad either. Quick to respond.

My favorite is by far XenForo. It is very nice, sleek and professional. It has all the major functions built in, with a easy to use @ system which MyBB lacks.
