What kind of flooring do you have in your own?

I myself have a mixture of tile, lino and carpet.

In the front room, middle room, hallways, stairs, bedrooms and bathroom I have carpet which was here when I moved in that we still need to replace. In the kitchen I have tiles and in the back room I have a lino that looks like laminate flooring which is hard waring and really easy to clean. I am hoping to get some of the lino for the hallway and also some for the bathroom.

Downstairs we just have plain concrete flooring. It won't be advisable to put anything fancy there 'cause it is an internet cafe.

Upstairs, our floor is made of wood and just covered it with simple linoleum.

My entire condo is pretty much carpet, except for the kitchen and part of the hallway leading to the kitchen. It's all white carpet too, so it gets dirty very easily. When I own my own house, I will never have white carpet.

Our house is a mixture also. The kitchen and bathroom are lino and the rest is carpet. We got the house re-carpeted when we moved in around a year ago, but the dogs have wrecked that so we're intending to gradually move across to laminate.

We're doing the front room next Tuesday when I have time off work and uni. Upstairs we're unsure about what we're going to do, as laminate will probably be noisy for the neighbours (terraced house) and we're thinking about just getting rid of the carpet completely on the stairs and just sanding/painting them.

Pro tip: Don't get a creamy coloured carpet when you're intending to get dogs. They are messy!

My kitchen and bathroom are tile. The rest of the house is hardwood floors. Hardwoods that my husband and I sanded and redid ourselves, and that I will never do again. They look good, but it was very hard work, and not the type of work I enjoy.

Everywhere in my house is tile.
There are mats, but the flooring is tiles, ;)

It used to be carpet, but we've decided to change a few years ago..

We used to have linoleum in the house but the dogs scratched it and it becomes not pleasant looking anymore. And so we just leave it as concrete flooring. In the apartment we rented before, it was carpeted and it was hard to maintain specially if no one will volunteer to clean it.

All hard wood in my house and bit of carpet for the stairs and hallway. Also ceramic tiles for kitchen, bathroom and toilet. It's freezing cold after shower at night.

Downstairs in every room expect the kitchen we have laminated wooden flooring. In the kitchen we have stone tiles. Upstairs we have the same brown coloured carpet running through all the rooms.

Laminated flooring is very nice, had it for a couple of years now, but it scratches very easily, We have to be really careful.

I agree with you there it sure does. I remember when I had laminated floors in my old house someone kindly leant against a stereo cabinet I had in the room at the time and it was further away from the wall than usual and when they leant on it, it skidded back on the floor and scratched it. Ended up having to find ways to cover the scratch with other furniture after that.

Mostly carpets except in the kitchen. But since the flooring is weak under the carpet in some areas, that will need to be taken up, so proper sub flooring can be installed. Probably linoleum or wood flooring will be installed over that cause my cats have a nasty habit of peeing on the carpet.
