      Hey,

Like most guys, if not most people, i love eating food, and that includes junk food.

I want to know if anyone out there knows of anyone snacks that taste great and are also healthy to eat.
If its not healthy, than it should at least be neutral as in no fat and doesn't require 10 hours of exercise to burn off.

Some of my favorite junk food is doritos chips, swiss rolls, oatmeal creapies, fudge rounds, oreo cookies, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, cheeze its, and many more.

If there is a healthy alternative that tastes just as good or better than some of the things listed here, please post them.

      Thanks

Caramel and buttered popcorn rice cakes? those sound delicious! but the buttered ones seem like they would be unhealthy to eat

Don't stop it just swap it! *waits for an Australian that gets the reference to smack me in the head*

You don't have to be that radical if it is not easy for you, but try to include good things within it. Fruits and veggies are the easiest to prepare and adapt to different dishes.

For example add fruit slices with the cookies snacks. Fruit is cheap raw, you just have to take 5 minutes to chop them and mix them in a bow, and have them ready for the rest of the day. Even biyng them in cans already sliced is not that expensive.
Once you have them in a bow and they are the fruit you like it will be easier to consume them.

Instead of soda buy juices or the fruit to prepare your own beverages.
Make your own milkshakes, even if you with normal milk still more healthy that the ones you buy outside.

The hardest thing with healthy snacks is that we have to move and prepare them and it is always way easier to simply grab the ol' bag or instant food. Whatever healthy and already prepared is usually extra expensive.

@kaynil - you expect me to do all that work? lol

I totally agree with you, its just i wanted to know if there existed junk food that was actually healthy, or not bad to eat.
Its a mentality type of thing, if you eat something that is just fruits and vegetables or you have to prepare something, most people won't do it, i know i wont, i just want something thats ready to go but doesn't negatively affect your body.

i just think if science can do the amazing things that it can today, what can't we come up with something that tastes awesome and has alot of nutrients and stuff in it, without costing an arm and a leg

Yeah, we're two in the same boat. Something cheap, deliciously looking and instant or microwave-preparation for lazy people like me. :D

Hmm... I have been having DimSum. I buy a frozen bag of them and one way to prepare them is using the microwave. They seem to me a healthier option. You may want to give them a go. :p
