I know that it's a really weird question and all. Anyway, I dislike insects with a passion. It has nothing to do with me being a woman and all, it's just I don't like them. May be it has something to do with my sister always trying to disgust me by grabbing various insects.

The point is, I am not afraid of them....they just disgust me. What about you guys? How do you feel about insects?

Depends on the insect to be honest. I don't mind some insects at all but others just creep me out and I can't stand them.

In my opinion I hate insects and don't go anywhere near them.

I find them fascinating and interesting even those I fear such as wasps. I marvel for instance at how strong ants are, despite their size and how bees know their way back to the hive and can decipher how far away a crop of flowers to pollinate is just from the movements of a dance one of their fellows does.

I also fear wasps as I do spiders but maybe more so wasps. Never been stung by one thankfully but I know a few that have and they say it's awful.

Not a fan. I mean I can deal with some kinds like beetles and stuff. But spiders. GO AWAY! I usually will fetch my brother or mom or dad to kill those guys. *shudder*

I like the ones that pose no threat to me. In fact, it can be quite interesting and calming to watch them going about their business.

      But, things like wasps....no, thanks >_< .

I have been stung by a wasp (7 August 1994, since you don't ask!). It itched and burned. Not an experience I care to repeat.

My son (now 8 years old) was stung around 5 years ago now I believe when he stepped outside into the garden, we are not sure if it was a wasp or a bee that was on the floor but he had stepped outside in socks to get something and as he did he was stung by either a bee or a wasp that was on the ground as he stood on it. He was in a lot of pain for a while after that and now has a big fear of bee's, wasps and even flies. Anything that buzzes he is afraid of.

Hmmm, well I dont mind bees, wasps are evil spawns of the devil, and should always be squashed with a rolled,up newspaper. Dont mind spiders,I get rid of those. Moths I HATE with a passion. Disgusting putrid creatures.

Speaking of buzzing my dog hates the flies that buzz. Actually both do. They chase and try to eat em. XD

You would love our house then. XD We sometimes get a lot of em due to the birds. Dogs like to chase em. My dog as a pup used to hunt them all the time and catch them.

I think this just about covers my relationship with insects
