So i just got this phone as a graduation gift from my parents. The HTC One M8 is an android-based phone and man is it awesome! I love the skin HTC uses on top of android, it's lightweight and all that good stuff. Coming from an iPhone 5 and having used nothing but iPhones prior to that, this phone is a nice, welcomed breath of fresh air and I gotta say, I'm actually addicted to my phone now. :D

Anyone else have one? What are your thoughts on it? :)

It's a good phone. I was torn between this one and the S5 but the M8 ultimately won at the end of the day. :)

I have taken a look at this phone however with my past experience of HTC phones in the past being bad I have been drawn away from getting another one.

I was in the same boat, the last HTC phone i had was horrible, but the M8 is probably the best phone I've used, ever. I really love the design and the UI of it is fast, responsive and clean looking. The speakers are phenomenal on it as well and they have a thing called HTC Advantage now that if your phone breaks within the first 6 months of ownership, they'll either replace the screen or whatever is wrong with it for free, or if you pay $29 (not sure the UK equal) they'll simply ship you a new one overnight.
