I live in the UK so this isn't something that will affect me but I am currently watching it on CNN and it is quite shocking to see the damage done so far and just how bad the winds and rain are at the moment in places it still hasn't reached.

Seen today about 5 deaths from Hurricane Irene and I was shocked to see about the young boy of 11 whom died from a tree that fell onto a 2 storey apartment he was in with his mother.

Are you being affected by Hurricane Irene?

      Oh! How sad...

I'm not affected by it here - only got a little storm.. first time for the year...

But, my sis is in New York. They're already evacuating people from some sort of border line ( not related to my sister's location )

Anyway, I heard it was one of the worst hurricanes they ever had...

I saw it on the news - apparently it was bad, but could have been much worse. I guess we have to be thankful that it was as small as it was. Still, that's little reconciliation to those who have lost their homes or family members.

Wow! I am so sorry to hear that Pokemon. I can still remember this and it was so long ago, doesn't seem like a year ago I was watching on the news.

Been watching the news regarding Hurricane Issac this past week, so shocking to see the damage done there again 7 years after Katrina :(
