      Yes, I've met "ignorant fools" who'd jump on the first occasion to blame any country to look down on others. E.G : A Quebecer said British are still snobbish to the French. It gets to my heart at each turn I'd hear that. I love British culture as much as I like French.

      You get too many ignorant people who will just say things for the sake of saying them and most of the time it's to get a rise out of others. Most of what they say is never true or if it is they always over exaggerate to make it seem worse than what it is.

      Aaah, just try not to pay much attention when people blabbler no sense. Think that their words are just noises coming out from their mouths. It is better to laugh than to worry for other people's impressions on things that won't make a difference for us. Only reason with whoever wants to reason, but for stubborn ignorant people by choice, don't waste your breath or thoughts.
