I just wonder how much of a distraction it will be to the driver.

I don't believe so myself. XD I mean, wireless internet's still less important than car security. XD I wouldn't for that insubstantial stuff, I consider it flimsy and unimportant. I mean, just in case a car's not secure enough, then how can we sit in it safely? With our children, little ones in there?

Wow, internet in a car I can imagine it happening however I think it would be a big distraction to a driver if they where using devices in the car whilst driving which they probably would do if the wifi was there.

I personally think things like this should be kept on public transport such as coaches, buses and trains to be honest.

Yep, you're totally right shortie. XD And like the cellphone, it should be regulated. Like drivers should not be able to go online whilst driving. And etc.

It would be too much of a distraction to the driver, although it does sound cool for the backseat (for me).

That's crazy I can't wait until it's released. Although it's a great addition it is as APS said a great distraction to drivers. I mean come on you already can't get people to quit texting a driving, there will be a lot more wrecks with this unit installed into everyday cars.

Great, now be ready to watch news soon about how a driver crashed his car while using internet. I think internet is enough for PC's and mobiles.

Yep that's right ikram, I mean, a driver not paying attention to the roads's bound to get accidents. And babies dying because chauffeurs were driving and using internet.

You do have a good point there though, it seems nowadays anything that is worth having gets stolen. Could this entice more people to steal cars?

Seriously? This would be lots of fun for passengers but a death hazard if the driver were using it. =(

Yeo that's true. so they should totally forbide the driver to use it while driving. Like alcohol+driving=accidents.

that's how a lot of them are portrayed. and supposedly one of the PSN hackers was a kid who sat in his room all day at his parent's home.

The car is quickly moving from vehicle into a large heavy gadget. Ford has been pushing with Sync to have more intergration of apps from your phone in so that you don't need to take your eyes off the road. A few of the models have wifi access points that you can create a hotspot within the car.

well you don't become a hacker over night, so it would take a person a lot of hours sitting on the PC typing and stuff. Sterotypical or demeaning or not, it's true facts.
