Okay, so I have a newborn baby, she is four weeks old today. I've been trying to get my daughter on a eating and sleeping schedule and its not working. She is a complete night owl and it drives me crazy. Any ideas of what I can do to try and get her on an appropriate schedule so that I can start getting some sleep?

Does she tend to also sleep a lot in the day? Reason I ask is because when mine used to sleep a lot in the day I would find I would have problems during the night of them not wanting to sleep. It's difficult to keep them awake I guess being so young especially the age your little one is but maybe if you try and wake her for feeds at regular intervals during the day without over feeding and see if that helps a change in her sleep pattern :)
