I mean, I've never been "this close" to a White guy before, almost no space between him & me. I think he was doing it on purpose on the bus (sitting so close to me). I almost wanted to ask him or to tell him to give me some personal space, but I didn't. What would you do if you were me on the bus?
An open question to all girls here. Because this made me think White guys don't really care about distance between girls/boys in public spaces as much as Asians.

Was the bus full or crowded that would have force him to sit so close?

If your buses are anything like our UK buses then the seats are barely wide enough for 2 people.

wow what the heck difference does his color make ?
Some people like to keep their distance others don't
ones color has nothing to do with it.

Maybe there was no room elsewhere on the bus
As APS said above the buses here are not very spacious.

It could have been the possibility of he did not know it was bothering you and may be he felt he needed to sit closer to prevent causing an obstruction on the bus down the area people walk. I personally myself when people do that either ask politely if they could not sit so close or I would move to get more space. Sometimes it's a genuine error on their part and they do not realise.
