Must feel good to leave without losing anything, besides your sanity that is.

Is military service voluntary in Britain, I don't think his Father served did he? I do recall his Uncle served in the Falklands war as a Helicopter Pilot. Killing our draft here was a very big mistake, this is why you see so many youths out on the street corners, no purpose in their lives nor do they know any leadership by older people. My country is in very deep trouble with so many thugs being produced. You get enough thugs with a vote and ....... well you get the message.

      Military service is voluntary now.
Prince Charles served in the RAF and then Royal Navy.

That's a very good thing for leaders to have an understanding of what their strengths are with respect to their Military. We have everything from people that never held a paying job to shoe cobblers being our president, now I suppose that is alright unless you have a crisis which at present we're running on auto pilot here, we have an empty head in the white house. :bomb:

Good thing all our ancestors didn't make the same decision. Every able bodied man should serve his country, freedom ain't free, and letting others do it for you is not very nice.

I have family in the service and hearing them talk about work sounds like every other job.
