I personally think that the whole form of religion is simply made to keep their followers in place. A failed attempt at that, since religion is the number killed over thing in the world, over money, property, and politics. Seeing as all of them involve similar aspects such as the great flood, the golden rule, and other forms that are the same simply worded differently. I find that they are all a different form from one another, simply copied over from generation to generation and worded differently by another ones thoughts. This is where you get different aspects to each religion, example Catholics, and protestants.

      Do you believe in religion?

That was focused on how separate even the closest religions are, they are still a form of Christianity, but so widely different from one another.

Don't believe in it. I feel it was some ploy for someone to become a leader and morons just kept it going.

wars are ALWAYS about the money: the religion was (and still is) a very good excuse for the shepherds.

WWI and II which are two of the most devastating wars in world history was fought over nationalism, not religion. We could throw in the Taiping rebellion which killed more than WWI, but someone could point out the fact that the leader of it thought he was a decendant of Jesus, but outside of that it was more of an economic reason, rather than religious reasons.

tl;dr there are other ways wars happen. Eradicating religion is not going to eradicate wars. If you got anything out of this post, I hope you understand this part.

when I say money I think economic reasons.
and it is always about the economy.
the other "reasons" are just an excuse for the little guy who do all the fighting.

religion according to me, was a necessity for humans .. It provided a sence of hope for people in those ages .
but at this 21st century religion is turning out to be more of a burden... there is no need for religion in this modern world
