So when I upgraded to Windows 10, I experienced weird freezes, graphic driver errors galore and was often forced to do a hard-reboot (Holding the power button down to power off the laptop) because the entire thing locked up and ctrl+alt+del wouldn't get the PC to respond.

I was able to jump back to Windows 8.1 MONTHS after I upgraded freely to Windows 10 and since going back, I haven't had a single crash or driver issue. My PC is like it's brand new again and I got rid of a lot of clutter in the process. The downside? I forgot to back up my itunes library and lost all my music (woops!)

I was the same my laptop kept freezing when I was using Windows 10 and I would have to do a hard reboot to get it back on again. I ended up going back to Windows 8.1 as well and no problems in the few weeks I have been back on that.

Wow, that's annoying. Hopefully you're able to get Windows 10 working for you at some point, whether it's on that machine or another one.

I have Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 4 and it works fine on it, so it's not like I don't have access to Windows 10 at all. :)
