Do you still buy CD's from the store or do you now stick to MP3's?

I myself still tend to buy CD's from the store for my favourite artists and such but other times I will stick to getting the MP3's for other albums myself.

Same here. Amazon mp3 site saved my life. I was buying all kinds of CD's and they were constantly getting scratched and destroyed but then i found the site and can now just download one single or an entire album and enjoy at home or on the go. It's like a dream! :D

The last time I've purchased a CD was some months ago when I got the bulk container of 'em.

I don't use them much anyway.. It's currently less than one-quarter full at the moment..

I avoid CDs like the plague. All it takes is one little scratch to pretty much ruin your listening experience forever and force you to fork out another £10.

Another great thing about MP3 is the portability they provide. I have 30+ albums on my iPhone and lots of room for more.

I used to buy some CDs (usually videoke type) of my favorite songs. But when it was really easy to just download some songs online, I am more on downloading since there are free sites for it. Although I could/would still buy some videoke CDs that are on sale so that we could use it on sing along sessions at home.

The only time I will buy a cd is if I really like the artist, and I can't download the music anywhere. So it's pretty rare. The last cd i bought was off a bluegrass singer with dreadlocks at the local bar. He was really good. Paid five dollars for an amazing album. So yeah mp3 with the exception of small bands I meet at bars typically.

Anymore I really only buy them from my favorite bands because they put so much work into the liner notes and cover art that it makes me sad to not have all of that as well. Or if a band is running a charity promotion like She & Him did at Christmas where if you bought their Christmas album at Starbucks, a portion of the proceeds went to a really cool charity, the 826 National tutoring centers. But if it's just something I'm listening to casually, or if I'm reviewing an album, or need a song for my radio show, then I just download the mp3's from Amazon or Bandcamp or Soundcloud (wherever they have them for downloading).

I was never actualy buying a lot of CD's

only sometimes, CD-s of my favorite band/s

with Internet there is no need for CD-s but I will admit that buying CD and listening to one is a much better experience.
