Do you think it is a good idea to hire a teenager as a staff member on a forum? Why or why not?

I believe you would have to be careful and going for teens aged 16 and over would be wise but in some cases some teens are more mature than their age and it could be a good thing for your forum especially if they have previous experience.

I've done it before, and not had any major problems as a result. On the various forums I've owned, been staff at, and just been a regular member at, I've seen plenty of teenagers who would have made good staff members, and plenty of over-20s who would have made terrible staff members.

Of course, it is something to be careful with, though.

There are a few on mine that help out and join in and are great.

A lot of people would say Old Age Pensioners shouldn't be Staff on Forums (they're too old)
I've been using and staffing forums since the 1990's.
As far as teenagers go,we all have to start somewhere.
