This one was a woman and not a very nice one at that, the text clipping describes just how brutal she was. This took place a few days ago, there are now 300 death row inmates left in Texas, the second highest only has 11, I guess business has been good in Texas for all the crazy killers. They do have a saying in Texas......Kill once and we'll kill you twice....... I think they mean it!

She was convicted of stabbing 71-year-old retired college professor Dorothy Booth in her Lancaster home with a butcher knife, beating her with a candelabrum and cutting off her finger to steal her diamond wedding ring.

Wow! 500 killed since 1982. That is a lot of evil people. Seems like this woman really deserved to be sentenced to death after what she did, can never understand how someone can do something so cruel.

Hard to force taxpayers to continue feeding and housing some of these people that are so evil, sure once they are caught and facing their fate they all get saved and become nice people. I don't think that would work too well just putting them back out in society to do their evil again. There are so many people now that are evil we can't feed them all for their lifetimes. China has been criticized for their executions in the past but they believe in swift cheap justice, they can afford to do that with so many people to be fed. China does do political killing also, you can tell when you look at photos, the political executions are always carried out by the Military and the execution squad is always in uniform, on the other hand the civil executions are carried out by police and province, very easy to spot in photos that have been released. North Korea is the most brutal of all, a truly evil little worthless place.

All I see is 500 less people to torment others. Though hopefully there isn't a need for another 500 to be killed.

Not much hope in that, we have an all time high throughout the entire world of evil people, at some point all nations will have to decided to rid themselves of the real killers and cold blooded ones because they can't continue to spend so much money to house them. It's been made into a business of sorts to the point where there are prisons in the US that are privately owned!! that was a very big mistake to allow that to happen, it pays the owners to ensure people are in prison. :(
