What are your thoughts on drunk tanks? Drunk tanks are being backed by the police for those who drink too much and become out of hand to be locked in to sober up in which they could be fined hundreds of pounds for their over night stay.

Do you think these drunk tanks will work to tackle problems with drink?

Well its about time they came up with something, its dragged on long enough. Like everything else, it should have been nipped in the bud. Now - its become a crisis problem - causing such misery ....

Pretty much yes however they are charged for their stay in it and only stay in it until they have sobered up.

Not so sure. I would have thought probably jail time but to be honest that just puts them back to square one with filling up prisons for drunken behaviour.
