Usain Bolt was disqualified from the World Championships 100m final because of a false start. Under the new rules, an athlete is automatically out after just one false start. Bolt made a false start, so was disqualified; Yohan Blake took the gold.

What do you think of this? Some have called for the rule to be scrapped; others say it was completely fair. Your thoughts?

Saw this on the news earlier and to be honest I feel the new rule is slightly unfair to be honest, after maybe 2 or 3 false starts yes fair enough then I feel a disqualification is needed but after 1 false start it is a bit too much. The ruling should be scrapped I feel and made so that it is less unfair as everyone makes a mistake even if it is only one, why should you be penalised for 1 mistake?

Under the new rules the disqualification was fair.
It's the rule that's unfair and needs scrapping.
