      Okay, so you visited this website with a deal that you found interesting..

      What are some points that you look at to judge if a website is trying to scam people?

      when the website is too good to be true and isn't a https:// site.

      well, if the deals seem too awesome or when the owner's known to scam people around the internet. so yeah, don't go on known hackers' sites. XD

      I usually use norton it alerts me if a website in particular is a scam or you can google it for reviews :confused:ylvia:

      I'll give you one example and that is how people are phishing steam accounts. They add the Steam users to their friend list and send them a msg that if you go here you win free games. When you go there, It looks just like the Steam Store page but instead the URL is different and so if you enter your information there then boom! there goes your account!
